The UC Adobe Student Licensing Pilot Program has ended.

Adobe products may still be available through some UC campuses. Contact your campus IT or software licensing office to learn what general Adobe access options may be available for students.

Only the systemwide UC pilot program has ended. This does not mean Adobe products are no longer available to UC students. Campus options will still be available through local licensing or departmental software processes. Contact your campus IT or software licensing office to learn more.

If you purchased a license through the program, you will still receive the full 12 months of access included with your purchase. No immediate action is required.

Frequently asked questions

Why did the program end?

The UC Adobe Student Licensing Program was a pilot that had a duration of one year. This does not mean Adobe products are no longer available to UC students. Campus options will still be available.

Did my current license stop working on the cutoff date of September 15?

No. September 15, 2026, was the final day for new purchases. Existing licenses were not affected by that date and will remain active for the full 12-month term beginning on the original purchase date.

Can I renew through this website?

No. Renewals are not available through the UC Adobe Student Licensing Pilot Program.

How will I know when my access ends?

You will receive an email as your one-year expiration date approaches. The message will explain when your program license will expire and what to do next.

What if I still need Adobe products after my license expires?

Contact your campus IT or software licensing office first to learn about general local Adobe access options. You may also be eligible for Adobe student pricing purchased directly from Adobe, which will require a transition to a personal Adobe account. Instructions will be included in your expiration email.

What should I do with files stored in Adobe Document Cloud?

Review your files before your license expires. Download or move any files you need to keep to a location you can access after the program license ends. Do not wait until the expiration date. Additional instructions will be included in your expiration email.

Can my campus help me find Adobe options?

Campus options may vary. Contact your campus IT or software licensing office to ask what general Adobe access options may be available for students, including whether a department can help through its existing software process.

Who can answer questions about my current subscription?

Contact support@ucstudentsoftware.ucop.edu. Use the subject line “UC Adobe subscription question.” Include the email address used for your purchase and, if available, your order information. Do not send passwords or payment card details.
